Absolutely obsessed with this place! Easily the best coffee and matcha in the city, and I’ve tried A LOT of spots. The coffee is always perfectly made, and the matcha is actually rich, smooth, and tastes like real matcha instead of sweet green milk 😭 Such a cute atmosphere, amazing drinks, and definitely one of those places you want to keep coming back to. 10/10, my new favorite coffee spot! 🤍

I have tried a lot of matcha in Calgary and surrounding area but Cafe Eight takes the top spot for my favourite matcha outside of Japan! They are always consistent and reliably delicious. Just look at that colour! The staff are friendly and welcoming, as is the clean modern decor. I highly recommend the iced strawberry or mango matcha. And thank you to the owner for reminding my husband that I like it with oat milk! ☺️

thank goodness i popped in, ive been looking for a good iced matcha near work for awhile now and the one i got here was great. Not watery, not too sweet, no chunky matcha powder, 10/10 no notes. Cant wait to try the mango matcha 🙂‍↕️

Highly recommend their strawberry matcha, one of the best I’ve ever had and their grill cheese sandwiches are very good as well. Went with a group and we tried a few other drinks and the rest of the drinks were a lil mid esp the dolce frappe, it was not great & don’t recommend. But the place had a lot of space and the staff was very friendly

The mango matcha was absolutely delicious! The sweet, juicy mango paired perfectly with the earthy matcha, creating a refreshing and well-balanced drink. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the flavors complemented each other beautifully. Definitely one of the best matcha drinks I’ve had—I would happily order it again!
