The grab and go options are a great choice for a lunch time sushi craving. I got the spicy salmon 16pc for $10! Delicious and fresh fish.

I live in the neighbourhood and have been coming to Daeco for about eight years, so I’m genuinely sorry to leave this review. Unfortunately, over the past couple of months, I’ve noticed a real decline in my experience. The freshness of the pre-made takeout sushi has become very hit or miss. Today, I stopped in around noon to pick up sushi for lunch and was also surprised and disappointed by the service. The woman who rang me through gave me a hard time when I asked for a bag, explaining that the customer before me received one because he had also ordered from the main menu. She seemed very distracted throughout the interaction, repeatedly talking to the chef and rushing around, which made the whole experience feel uncomfortable and unnecessarily frustrating. When I got home, I was even more disappointed to discover that the sushi did not taste fresh at all—especially surprising considering I had purchased it at noon. After being a regular customer for so many years, it’s disappointing to feel that both the quality of the food and the customer experience have changed. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be going back. It’s a shame, because Daeco had been a neighbourhood favourite of mine for a long time.

Excellent experience at this place, I was pleasantly surprised with the service and taste of Gyozo soup. Loved it ! Tsuzumi was just great, she shared really good recommendation.

We really love this sushi place! The sushi is always very fresh, delicious, and great quality for the price. The staff are super friendly and welcoming every time. We tried it once, really enjoyed it, and now we keep coming back. Everything always tastes fresh and well prepared. Highly recommend! 🍣

I’ve been there a few times, and the food is always delicious with great service. A special mention to the complimentary soup they serve when you arrive — it’s excellent. It’s also worth trying the Philadelphia roll. 🍣
