I had a very strange experience here. After we finished our meal and asked for the bill and paid for it, the waiter chased us outside of the restaurant saying that the payment didn’t go through. Although it was posted on my credit card. I showed them the payment on my credit card but they insisted that it didn’t go through and the bank will refund it automatically and started yelling at me. I was too pissed to confront them so I paid the bill again. Fast forward to 10 days later the bank didn’t refund it because why would they? The first payment did go through. They intentionally double charged me I guess. I really don’t know what to say but if they try to double charge you too just refuse to pay the second time and let them do whatever they want because it’s all lies.

This is a really cute breakfast brunch and lunch place. The food is fresh and served hot. The patio is delightful. Yes the dining room is small so after patio season make a reservation. Its busy. So good highly recommend!

Very unique offering of Mexican breakfast. Excellent service and good quality food. Everything we ordered quite delicious and I will return again for some more. Little pricier that I'd like for breakfast but quality and service definitely make up for it.

We had a wonderful first experience at Huevos Gourmet, and Clinton truly made it memorable! From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly welcoming, friendly, attentive, and professional. He took great care of us and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. We ordered the Steak & Eggs, and Clinton recommended the Huevos Rancheros and his recommendation ended up being our favorite! He definitely knew what to suggest. 😊 The food was delicious, the vibe was perfect, and the service made the whole experience even better. A big thank you to Huevos Gourmet for having such warm and friendly people on the team. Clinton is truly an asset to this place. We’ll definitely be coming back, especially if Clinton is there. His amazing service gave us another reason to return!

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service. We sat at our table for about 20 minutes. We were given water, but after that, not a single server came over to take our order. The staff was around, but it honestly felt like no one cared about the customers. Eventually, we left without even being able to place an order. Very disappointing service and a poor overall experience. I would not recommend this place if you expect basic attention and decent customer service.

Brunch with my family of four. Attentive service and all the food was great. A little pricey but great location on a beautiful day for a post-meal walk. Will go back.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not sure what has happened to this Restourant but not only the quality of food became close to McDonalds but also customer service is absolutely disgusting. We were regular there but we wont go there anymore. Untrained rude unqualified staff with food on the table that looks like it was served for pigs rather than humans. We notice quality decrease for some time but today it was just beyond unmanageable. We came to reserve a table. We were told 10 min, we are waiting outside, then we were told oh sorry we actually don’t have the table. It’s more or less 30-40 min to wait for another table, we didn’t like that but we said ok we will go for a walk. We left our phone number. We came back in 25 min, hostess goes that I called you, you didn’t pick up it’s your problem and turned it on us. I show her that her phone number is not identified and doesn’t even go through. The proper staff will double check with a phone provider and fix the problem for other customers but she was telling us I called and it’s your problem. We are there for 1 hr, hungry and still no table. The call didn’t go through. She could have written the number incorrectly, she could have texted or apologized. She was pressuring me that I am mismanaging and she is right. I asked for a manager, that manager seen us over 50+ times in the past 3 years and explicitly stated that it’s my problem, her innocent hostess did everything right. You made us wait for 1 hr, made me guilty and left us hungry. my friends who came from Aurora to have a breakfast together are waiting with us outside?!!!! Dear, owner of this Restourant, I am not sure what is happening on the back end and why food recently became very low quality and unqualified people work there but I think it’s time to see how they interact with customers and what food is getting served. I am sure it was not your intention to make experience of regulars this way!

I have been coming to this place in both their Lake Shore and this location. Usually, I would say food is amazing as well as the service at this place and location. However, first of all, food quality has gone down drastically from smaller portions to lower quality ingredients for the past 1-2 months (e.g., usually huevos rancheros would have a tortilla at the bottom and two pieces of toast on the side… not since last time… also the new side potatoes are very flavourless). Then, today…Didn’t even get to eat today because, when trying to get a table twice, once after waiting to be told that whatever looked available was booked, and second after having to wait +30 minutes only to be called twice within one minute with no voicemail left. The facts - came and there was one available table but no sign of “Reserved” - Took them 10 mins to tell us the second table was also reserved - We went for a walk, to wait for the 30 minutes - While on the walk we got a couple of missed calls on the same minute, not 3-4 minutes apart and since there is no caller ID I got no notifications nor did I see a voicemail - Call came 20 mins before we finally came back so I give them that But how we were treated was the worst. Hostess was very condescending and trying to prove us wrong (i.e., calling my phone) instead of finding a solution to our problem. So yeah, never coming back here. Thankfully there are better options around the area like Casa Tabasco, and Corazon Agave….

Went for Sunday breakfast with my dad, was absolutely delicious. Certainly no complaints on my behalf. Would visit again. I recommend the egg Benedict. Nice atmosphere inside the restaurant and outside aswell on the waterfront.

Huevos Gourmet is a great breakfast and brunch spot in the Humber Bay area with a stylish atmosphere, creative menu, and a location that is perfect for starting the day before spending some time near the waterfront. The restaurant has a distinctive interior with interesting decorations, comfortable seating, plenty of natural light, and a more unique personality than a typical breakfast chain. The breakfast selection is excellent, with plenty of egg dishes, omelettes, pancakes, French toast, breakfast plates, sandwiches, and other brunch favourites. The food is freshly prepared, nicely presented, and portions are generous enough for a satisfying meal. There are both traditional breakfast choices and more creative options if you want to try something different. Coffee and other breakfast drinks complement the food well, and the relaxed atmosphere makes it enjoyable to stay for a while rather than feeling rushed. Service is friendly and attentive, and the staff do a good job even during busy breakfast and brunch periods. The Marine Parade Drive location is another major advantage. It is easy to combine breakfast here with a walk along the lake and nearby Humber Bay parks. Overall, Huevos Gourmet offers tasty breakfast and brunch food, generous portions, friendly service, an interesting interior, and an excellent waterfront-area location. A very enjoyable place for breakfast or brunch in Etobicoke and definitely worth visiting. ★★★★★

I live in the building and this is a really nice looking place that I always walk by. I decided to give them another chance after being disappointed a couple years ago... Hey miss ordered my food so it took me 45 minutes to get a taco, The tacos are comparable to all-inclusive level food... Which I would rate as poor. Really just not worth it and not a great use of a beautiful space.

Amazing experience and excellent service! A special thank you to Roman, who took great care of us. He was very friendly, professional, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Roman is truly a great face of the restaurant and represents the place extremely well. Everything was pleasant from start to finish.
