Ordered the shio and shoyu. Broth was flavorful but overly salty. The noodles were okay. Toppings were excellent - both the chicken and the pork were tender. However, at $25 a bowl including the egg before tax and tip, the value prop just isn't there. It's somehow more expensive than popular downtown ramen chains without the same level of taste.
Reviews / Ratings for RAMEN YUTAKA
unagi taco is a little misleading but tastes fine, chicken yuzu broth was so salty I had to dilute it with water, flavor was nice tho, and texture of the noodles were really good, service is great!
Amazing salt ramen! The broth is rich and full of flavor, making it taste just like real Japanese ramen. I was so surprised to find a bowl this good in Canada. Will definitely be coming back!"
It had been a while since I last visited Ramen Yutaka, and I was happy to see they’ve added quite a few new items besides ramen. We tried their creative sushi, especially the tuna and uni sushi served on deep-fried nori. It was delicious and a really nice modern twist on sushi. The only downside is the price — $29 for just two pieces is definitely expensive. They’ve also added more ramen and broth options, but unfortunately I felt the ramen wasn’t as good as I remembered. I’m also not sure if they’re still making their noodles in-house like they used to. Overall, I really enjoyed the new sushi options and appreciate that they’re trying new things. I just hope the ramen can get back to the quality I remember.
Ramen Yutaka is a masterpiece. Trying their Coffee and Earl Grey ramen blew my mind—the fusion of roasty coffee notes and aromatic tea with their rich broth is pure culinary genius! The Yuzu was incredibly refreshing, while the Traditional Shoyu showcased absolute mastery of the basics. Every bowl highlights their perfect, chewy house-made noodles and premium toppings. It is rare to find a spot that balances wild innovation with traditional execution so flawlessly. This hidden gem in Aurora has officially become a mandatory pit stop. I will absolutely visit again every single time I road trip up north!
I had such a fantastic meal here recently. The quality of the ingredients is genuinely impressive, and everything arrived at the table looking beautiful. I particularly loved the crispy seaweed base under the salmon sushi. The texture was perfect. The ramen was equally delicious, with a rich, flavorful broth that really hit the spot. I am already looking forward to my next visit to try more of the menu. This place is a real gem for anyone looking for a high-quality lunch.
Their ramen is exceptional!! Must try!!
This is the first time we cleared the ramen broth from the bowl that means yummy and no msg. We love the creamy spicy chicken broth with yuzu flavor. The pork belly skewers are so tender and the balance of the fat is just right. The tuni and uni sushi with crunchy seaweed is extraordinary. The takoyaki is also good but not too surprising. It is a bit pricey, but we may treat ourselves better once in a blue moon with a great meal.
My family and me we loved this place, delicious food, excellent service and quiet place, definitely we will be back.
Nice little artesian ramen place in Aurora. The place is relatively small and we made reservations for our group of 8. Service was good where the wait staff were attentive. They have interesting flavours like Earl Grey, Coffee and Yuzu. The Yuzu was the only one that really had the flavour but the broth was nice nonetheless. I liked the chewiness and texture of the noodles plus a good amount of meat relative to other Ramen places. Plus they have some non-ramen options. Beware if you want an extra egg as that’s another $3.
We had delicious spicy ramen, shoyu ramen, an iberico ham skewer and gyoza! Super tasty and nice space. Will definitely be back!
Only one word to describe this place: overpriced! The cheapest vegetarian ramen is $20, with most bowls going up to $26 before tax (as of July 2026). For that price, I expected a lot more. It also feels like they're cutting costs wherever they can, from the cheap disposable chopsticks to the dog-eared menus that are literally just letter-sized sheets of paper clipped into folders. We decided to give this place another try after a long time away. It even feels like the restaurant has changed management because the interior looks quite different from what we remembered. The dining area is tiny, with only about six tables. The seating is so cramped that you're practically elbow-to-elbow with the people next to you and can hear every conversation around you. We ordered the Spicy Yuzu Oat Miso Ramen and the chicken curry. The ramen came with just three slices of chicken and one very thin slice of pork belly. It tasted fine and spicy, but nothing memorable, and definitely not worth the price. Even in downtown Toronto, you can easily find better ramen for less. The chicken curry was even more disappointing. It tasted like standard Japanese curry made from curry roux cubes, served with a side of shredded lettuce that didn't seem very fresh, topped with dressing. The presentation and overall quality felt more like cafeteria food than something from a restaurant charging these prices. Overall, I don't mind paying premium prices if the food and experience match, but that wasn't the case here. There are plenty of ramen shops, including franchise chains, that serve tastier food at a lower price.
Wow! Everything is delicious , and the eel is astonishing! We'll come back some day for sure.
